This 1978 Spitfire is offered for sale as a running restoration,
It is a 1500 non overdrive,
The chassis and floors all appear solid and the car does run and drive although it does require a good 'going over' - I have driven it but i would suggets colelcting on a trailer to be safe,
The engine pulls well and all gears engage positivley,
It does need a little time and effort spending on it but will make a good useable classic once done,
The paintwork is a little poor as the photos show,
It is registered as historic so no requirement for an MOT and it is Road Tax Exempt,
The hood is in 'okay' condition with no large tears and the rear screen is good so is useable,
Overall it is an easy winter project and is an ideal everyday classic,
